We all love animals; they are cuddly and and don't tell secrets. We especially all have a soft spot for dogs, but when it comes to assistance animals we should not joke.
There are Service Dogs, Guide Dogs, Hearing Alert Dogs, Seizure Alert Dogs, Diabetic Alert Dogs, and Therapy Dogs. Each specially trained to help people with physical disabilities, blindness, hearing loss, epilepsy, diabetes, or someone who needs emotional support. There is a growing problem, though; people are sticking there dogs in service dog vests and bringing them into public places. That is against the ADA law and making business and shop owners question if the dog is actually trained and and certified.
It is so easy to certify an untrained dog and buy a vest for them. I am not going to link any website for this as it is not something I would like to promote, however, I would like to promote leaving the use of assistance and emotional support animals to the people who legitimately need them. No faking!!
